Meet The LJMU LGBTIQ+ Staff Network Officials
LJMU’s professorial lecture series provides a platform to showcase and celebrate the university’s new professors. Each lecture represents a significant milestone in an academic’s career and is an opportunity for each professor to present an overview of their academic contributions.
Our sixth Chancellor and our first alumni Chancellor, Nisha Katona MBE, is an ambassador, advocate and role model for our students and staff. After studying law at LJMU, she went on to work as a Barrister for nearly 20 years before setting up her own business, Mowgli, one of the fastest growing restaurant movements in the country.
Olatunde has been a member of staff within our business school for nearly a decade and most recently took on the role of Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion within our Faculty of Business and Law, ensuring students and staff are provided equity of opportunity to achieve whatever they aspire.
Principal of our School of Pharmacy in the early 1900s overseeing the school’s greatest period of expansion; LJMU is now one of the oldest providers of pharmacy education in Europe.
Beth graduated with a degree in sports science in 2007 and was in the very first class of scholars in the Sports Scholarship programme that launched in 2004. She is renowned as Britain’s greatest-ever female gymnast.
