1. Training for managers: disabilities and long-term health conditions, including mental health

   LJMU’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team, are proud to be working in partnership with coaching and training specialists; Result CIC (Community Interest Company) and are pleased to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors (those directly responsible for staff/students) the opportunity to participate in a half day Training for Managers of Staff with Disabilities & Long-Term Health Conditions Including Mental Health, workshop.

3. Dental plan for LJMU staff

   The scheme provided by Unum Dental is an insurance policy available to LJMU staff, apply by 31 Jan 2024.

4. LightNight 2018

   The LightNight festival, which takes place on Friday 18 May this year, promotes the city’s arts and cultural offer to people who may not usually engage with the arts.

6. Double win for LJMU students at Innovation in Business Awards 2022

   A student and a recent graduate from LJMU have scooped two awards at the Liverpool Chambers Innovation in Business Awards 2022.

   QS World University Rankings 2024 places sport and exercise science at 6th in the world

   The university will shortly be introducing a new system to support you in recording and tracking performance and development conversations.
