World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. The results of the Your LJMU, Your Voice staff survey reveal that employees consider LJMU to be a good place to work but there are clear areas for improvement. Researchers at the LJMU Astrophysics Research Institute have recently joined Galaxy Zoo, a 'citizen science' driven astronomy project.
The morning saw graduations from Maritime and Mechanical Engineering, the Astrophysics Research Institute, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and the School of Nursing and Allied Health. In the afternoon Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Technology Research Institute, Civil Engineering and Built Environment all celebrated their graduations.
