1. Designing our futures

   Students of LJMU studying Product Design were able to meet with industry partners, engineering and design companies as well as showcase their work at the end of year product design show.

2. Kind staff and students support Whitechapel Centre Christmas appeal

   Warm clothes, selection boxes, toiletry sets and Christmas foods were among the items collected and donated by staff and students.

3. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

   The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

4. Graduation review: Monday 11 July 2016

   The first day of LJMU's 2016 Summer Graduation Ceremonies kick off at Liverpool Cathedral on Monday 11 July.

   All students and staff are invited to join LJMU at Liverpool Pride on Saturday 27 July.

7. MyLJMU app now available

   We have launched a brand new app version of MyLJMU.

8. Hundreds of local school pupils get taste of university

   LJMU welcomed almost five hundred Year 11 pupils to its Future Focus Days as part of the Universitys sustained widening access programme, giving young people an insight into the opportunities Higher Education can offer.

9. Staff and students support Whitechapel Centre’s Christmas Appeal

   Whitechapel and LJMU are working together to bring some much needed comfort to homeless people during the forthcoming festive season.
