1. Student Information System Upgrade

   The University’s Student Information System (SIS) is being upgraded. SIS will be unavailable during the upgrade, from 5pm on Thursday 21st November until 8am on Tuesday 26th November.

2. New Subcontracting Policy approved

   The approved Subcontracting Policy sets out the requirement for subcontracting provision for degree apprenticeships delivered across the university.

3. £4k raised so far through NSS

   Final year students have raised £4,000 for charity so far, by completing the National Student Survey.

4. Audit and Risk Policy update

   The Engagement of External Auditors for Non-Audit Work Policy has been revised.

5. Final Year Future Week and Grad Café for final year students

   Graduating this summer? Join the LJMU Student Futures team for a week of talks and careers sessions focussing on supporting your next steps and come along to our Grad Café to meet and talk to fellow students graduating in 2022

6. Heating engineer wins Undergraduate of Year Award

   Engineering graduate Bas Pilar wins Undergraduate of Year Award from Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers

7. Examination Timetable now out

   The main University examinations will take place between 27 April - 7 May 2020.

8. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

   Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.

9. Long service awards

   The university has updated the Long Service Awards scheme to include celebration of reaching additional key milestones at 25, 35, 45 and 50+ years’ service.

10. New Academic Achievement teaching resources

    Each of these resources is a standalone academic skills class accompanied by a full lesson plan with teaching notes.
