1. Meet the electric Formula Student team heading to Silverstone this summer

   Intrepid engineering students are hoping to race LJMUs first electric racing car around the world-famous Formula 1 track in July.

   PGRs attended 2 day residential writing event, at Gladstone's Library in Wales.

7. Spring graduation 2024

   This April, LJMU celebrated the achievements of 2,678 students who graduated across eight ceremonies at Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral.

8. Poignant and unique artistic record of LJMU's Bicentenary year goes on display

   Julia Midgley: Bicentenary Sketchbook - A Window on LJMU's 200th Anniversary Year is now on display for an extended run until Friday 5 April, at LJMU’s John Lennon Art and Design Building.

9. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

   The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

10. Another successful year for the online summer course “Sustainability and Employability”

    Over 60 students successfully completed the online summer course Sustainability and Employability: Understanding Sustainability Issues and Getting Ready for the Job Market.
