1. Alumna wins Golden Globe

   Claire Foy, star of the £100m Netflix series, The Crown, and graduate of LJMU, has won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV series.

3. Lecturer at LJMU scoops prestigious honour for Design and Technology education

   Matt McLain from LJMU’s School of Education has been honoured for his achievements in teacher training at the Design and Technology Association Excellence Awards held last month.    LJMU student Victoria Smith, 24 was shortlisted for the Tourism Young Person of the Year award at this years Liverpool City Region Tourist Awards 2022. The awards, that took place at Liverpool Cathedral, saw businesses and guests from across Liverpool celebrating the city regions tourism sector.

10. Sport coaching expertise goes international in Malta

    International specialists in the field of sport coaching at LJMU visited Malta earlier this month as they delivered face-to-face teaching components of the inaugural postgraduate programme.
