    What can fossil bones tell us about the ecology and behaviour of extinct species? In two recent publications, Dr Carlo Meloro from the School of Natural Sciences and Psychology has worked with international teams to demonstrate how we can interpret palaeoecology (the ecology of fossil animals and plants) of extinct wild dogs by looking at their fore-limb and skull shape.

    Planning permission has been granted for a new £19 million Shakespeare theatre for Prescot, Knowsley, which will have education at its heart.
