  3. New study suggests explanations for usage of plesiosaurs’ long necks

    Plesiosaurs are an extinct group of marine reptiles from the age of dinosaurs who are famous for their long necks. The effect of such long necks on how these animals swam is a mystery but now computer simulations are helping LJMU scientists understand what would happen if a plesiosaur turned its head while swimming.

  4. New family activity programme launched by ukactive

    Liverpool John Moores University’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences is collaborating with ukactive, EdComs, Places for People Homes and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in a newly funded Sport England programme.

  5. LJMU appoints new Pro-Vice-Chancellor

    Liverpool John Moores University has appointed a new Pro-Vice-Chancellor for External Engagement and Partnerships Dr Aileen Jones, who is currently Executive Director of Investment and Delivery at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, will take up post at the university in September.
