1. Stair safety in homes of older adults

   We are looking for people aged 55 or over to take part in a study that aims to engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities for improving stair safety in the homes of older people.

5. Forensic anthropology

   The Forensic anthropology group is committed to the development of protocols and guidelines to increase the reliability of the recovery, documentation and analysis of human remains. We provide casework consultancy for forensic anthropological analysis, facial approximation and mass grave excavation. 6. Study Sociology

   The Department of Sociology at LJMU offers students a unique opportunity to undertake contemporary and critical programmes of study. Our taught degrees combine a friendly, supportive atmosphere with challenging and stimulating study, which build on our expertise, research strengths and areas of specialism.

7. FTDP scholarship funding

   Each scholarship funding is for three years of a full-time PhD degree programme, and includes tuition fees, a tax-free maintenance stipend of around £18,622 per annum (rising in line with URKI rates) and additional research costs of up to £1,600 per year.
