1. Summer and graduate placement opportunities

   A great range of 200-hour part-time (20 hours per week over 10 weeks) and five-month full-time, paid student summer placements are currently available exclusively to LJMU students.

4. Postgraduate Research Experience Survey 2019

   The 2019 Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is now open. The survey runs from Monday 1 April until Friday 10 May.

5. World Mental Health Day 2019

   World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Throughout the week starting Monday 7th– Friday 11th October LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing Services will be delivering a range of activities and raising awareness to celebrate good mental health and encourage us all to look at what we can do to maintain and promote positive wellbeing.

6. Shortlisted for THE Awards 2016

   LJMU has been shortlisted in three categories of the prestigious Times Higher Education Awards 2016.

7. Salters Festival of Chemistry 2016

   Over 60 school pupils from across the North West, including Merseyside, Lancashire, the Isle of Man and Colwyn Bay, went to LJMU to enjoy an exciting day in the labs, as part of the Salters' Festival of Chemistry.

8. John Moores Painting Prize 2016

   Chinese artists made welcome in Liverpool for the John Moores Painting Prize 2016 at LJMU's John Lennon Art and Design Building.

9. Managing LJMU Apple IDs

   IT Services has developed a new approach to improve the way university-owned Apple devices are managed and supported.

10. Jane Garvey Honorary Fellowship

    Read the oration for Jane Garvey in the presentation of her award as an Honorary Fellow of Liverpool John Moores University.
