   Today is Transgender Day or Remembrance (20th November 2019) - A vigil will be held in Exchange Station 6.00pm onwards

3. Join the Pride March on Saturday 27 July

   LCR Pride takes place on Saturday 27 July and we will be taking part in the Pride March on Saturday afternoon.

4. Win Love to Shop vouchers in our COVID student survey

   To help reduce the spread of Covid, Public Health at Liverpool City Council are conducting a survey of LJMU students.

5. International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) – 17th May 2021

   International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) aims to raise awareness of discrimination and violence against people within the LGBTIQ+ community, to drive positive change.

6. Writing for Wellbeing

   An invitation for students to take part in Writing for Wellbeing workshops.

7. Estranged Students Solidarity Week

   Monday 25th - Friday 29th November is Estranged Students Solidarity Week, a national campaign to raise awareness of the issues affecting students who are studying in higher education without the support of a family network.

8. In memoriam: Aldham Robarts

   The LJMU community is deeply saddened by the death of Aldham Robarts, an Honorary Fellow, trustee and passionate supporter of the university.

9. Vice Chancellor's Awards for Research, Scholarship and Knowledge Transfer 2019

   A summary of the winners of the VC Awards for Research, Scholarship and Knowledge Transfer 2019 conferred at the University Research and Innovation Day in June.

10. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

    The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.
