    The Galaxy Formation and Evolution Research Group looks at population studies of dwarf galaxies up to the most massive clusters of galaxies, supermassive black holes and detailed modelling of the internal structure of galaxies.     Mayor of Liverpool, Joanne Anderson, is a courageous leader and an inspiration to so many as the first female Mayor of the city and the first Black woman to be directly elected as a Mayor in the UK. As a graduate and current MBA student at LJMU, Joanne is like so many other mature students that pass through our doors, seeing the benefit of further study - both for herself and for Liverpool.
