1. New Forensic Research Institute launched

   LJMU has launched a new Forensic Research Institute (FORRI) to support and enhance the criminal justice system.

2. International student partnership with China celebrated at Lunar New Year gathering

   Thirteen dual-award engineering students from China met with LJMU’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mark Power, in recognition of their successful studies and in celebration of the beginning of Lunar New Year.

   LJMU’s Diversity and Inclusion Calendar is now available as a resource to all staff and students on the LJMU website.

4. Enhancing the student experience through improved assessment and feedback guidance

   A project group has updated our Assessment and Feedback Policy as well as launched a new mini site of guidance for staff to utilise.

5. Volunteer at our March graduation ceremonies

   Staff are needed to usher graduands and guests, and to carry out other duties at the Anglican Cathedral during our March ceremonies this bicentenary year.

8. LJMU honours Bicentenary fellows

   LJMU is to celebrate 10 new honorary fellows in its Bicentenary year at a special event at St George’s Hall this autumn.

9. Graduate Tutor Trainees join Positive Action Programme

   Six Graduate Tutor Trainees have begun a four-year programme at LJMU to gain invaluable teaching experience and strengthen the university's representation of Ethnically Diverse staff.
