   A project to deliver digital services to sick and elderly people in Liverpool has won £4.3million from the UK government.

5. Mind the GaP!

   Time is rapidly running out for Principal Investigators to be trained on the new Grants and Projects (GaP) system. It has been agreed by the University that any bids for external funding (research and enterprise activity) from April 2020 will need to be set up by the Principal Investigator on the GaP system, so its important that you book onto training ASAP.

6. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

   LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.

7. £1.2m win for LJMU as Science and Technology Facilities Council supports cutting edge research at ARI

   The Astrophysics Research Institute (ARI) has won a £1.2m grant from the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), to support cutting-edge research at Liverpool John Moores University
