    Friday 6th December will be the last Coffee and Connections of 2019 and will take place from 11am at Redmonds Building. Everyone is invited.

    Journalist and human rights activist, Rebecca Tinsley, delivered a thought-provoking Roscoe Lecture which delved into the human psyche, asking if genocide is part of our nature.

  3. LJMU residential for young people

    LJMU Outreach has welcomed young people from 12 schools across the north west region to its annual Year 10 Residential, targeted specifically at those in local authority or residential care.

  4. World Mental Health Day 2019

    World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Throughout the week starting Monday 7th– Friday 11th October LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing Services will be delivering a range of activities and raising awareness to celebrate good mental health and encourage us all to look at what we can do to maintain and promote positive wellbeing.

  5. Grace, intelligence and graft: Nisha's recipe for success

    Chancellor Nisha Katona MBE has shared the key ingredients for success with LJMU students and staff: grace, intelligence and graft. She shared her insights at the second Roscoe Lecture series event of LJMU’s Bicentenary year at St George’s Hall.
