   Open Research Week 2024 is a collaborative event by LJMU, Edge Hill University, University of Liverpool, and the University of Essex from Monday 26 February to Friday 1 March.

6. Athletics coach Graham helps sprinter Ola Abidogun win Commonwealth bronze

   LJMUs Head of Capital Development, Graham Pilkington, was in Birmingham earlier this week as he watched one of his athletes, Ola Abidogun, win bronze in the T45-T47 100m.

7. Training materials now available on Canvas for CourseLoop

   The CourseLoop Canvas resource has short video guides on how to get started in addition to information if you require additional help and support.

8. REF success leads to significant boost in funding

   LJMU is to receive 52% more funding from Research England

9. Join the alumni mentoring program

   LJMU Connect has launched the LJMU Mentoring Group to enable students, staff and alumni to develop meaningful mentoring connections within our LJMU community.

    Over 100 staff, with more than 25 years’ service each, were invited to enjoy a special afternoon tea.
