   World, Commonwealth, European and Olympic medallist, Anyika Onuora recently returned to Liverpool John Moores University to talk to sports scholars, sport interns and staff from student sport societies about her experiences as an LJMU Sports Scholar.

4. Recognition for China engagement strategy

   LJMU was runner-up in the Education Links Category at the Greater China Awards, awarded by the Department for International Trade (DIT) North West recently.

   Liverpool John Moores University is keen to support the Government and the Liverpool City region Devolution Deal. Overall we see this as a positive step forward for the City Region.

   We have launched an exercise to learn about your experiences of working at the university.

8. LJMU business partnership rated outstanding

   A partnership between LJMU and a major civil engineering firm has been independently rated as outstanding after transforming its business model, generating growth and making progress towards net zero.

9. University welcomes new students

   St George’s Hall will again play host to a special event organised by LJMU to welcome new full-time undergraduates to the University and the city of Liverpool.
