1. Long service awards

   The university has updated the Long Service Awards scheme to include celebration of reaching additional key milestones at 25, 35, 45 and 50+ years’ service.

2. MyLJMU app now available

   We have launched a brand new app version of MyLJMU.

3. Professional Services Conference 2020 - call for submissions extended

   The main theme of this conference is 'Continuous Improvement: the Art of the Possible'. In response to positive feedback from last year's conference, we again welcome submissions on the sub-theme of Health and Wellbeing.

4. Sexual Violence Awareness Week

   Throughout Sexual Violence Awareness Week (Monday 4th – Sunday 10th February), a new team of staff from Student Advice and Wellbeing Services were out and about across the University to talk to students and staff about the impact sexual violence and harassment has on individuals and communities

5. Students at the Heart Conference 2024: submissions now open

   Submissions are now open for the Students at the Heart Conference and the theme for 2024 will be ‘community.’

6. £4k raised so far through NSS

   Final year students have raised £4,000 for charity so far, by completing the National Student Survey.

7. Mark Power welcomes Professor Ian Campbell to LJMU

   Professor Ian Campbell took up his role as our new Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive on 14 October.

8. LJMU earns environmental recognition

   LJMU has been recognised for its environmental initiatives on campus following an external inspection.

9. Educate North Awards 2017 nominations

   LJMU has been shortlisted for University of the Year plus several other categories in this year’s Educate North Awards.

10. New Reading List Management System Launched.

    In January 2015 Library Services piloted the use of a reading list management system, Rebus:List with 27 academics across the University with a soft launch that Summer.
