    The Mechanical Engineering and Materials Research Centre (MEMARC) specialises in fracture and contact mechanics, wave propagation in lattices and microstructures, thermal fatigue and thermal striping, materials development and processing, as well as dynamics and control systems.     Bryan is the Director of Bluecoat, Liverpool’s contemporary Arts centre, a working home for artists, and a place where audiences can experience art in new ways. As a fine art graduate of the polytechnic, he never imagined he’d one day be running one of Liverpool’s oldest and most well-known galleries.

    Dominique is an inspirational individual who in the face of adversity, when her brother Anthony was murdered in an unprovoked racist attack, has been able to use her voice and experience to create positive change and promote racial harmony across Merseyside. As an LJMU alumni, and former police officer, she is now a lecturer in our School of Justice Studies.
