1. New Diversity and Inclusion Policy

   The D&I Team has developed the Transgender and Non-Binary Policy for staff and students, with accompanying guidance.

2. LJMU supports law students as host of national speed mooting competition

   School of Law students from LJMU, alongside those attending from other universities, took part in the mooting events, presenting their verbal arguments and putting their knowledge to the test that they’ve learnt during their studies.

3. Outreach programme takes pupils to London

   Local school children have visited University College London (UCL) as part of an LJMU widening access programme. Access All Areas is an initiative from LJMU’s Outreach team which arranged the first university exchange for year 11 pupils.

6. Register for the Students at the Heart Conference 2024

   Staff and students can now register to attend the conference, with various workshops and sessions taking place across the two days, in the Redmonds and Student Life buildings, on LJMU campus.

8. Volunteer opportunities with Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2024

   Daily opportunities through to Sunday 10 November in Liverpool city centre locations.

9. Professorship and readership conferment process

   The LJMU professorship and readership conferment process for 2024/25 will open from Wednesday 27 November 2024.
