   Shaun is a dedicated member of the catering team at LJMU and was honoured with the Outstanding Professional Services award at the JMSU Student Experience Awards 2023, alongside the late Colette Dalton, a beloved colleague.

5. Women in Sport and Exercise Academic Network (WiSEAN) Conference

   The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for students, academics, and practitioners to connect and share knowledge to create, promote, and lead change for women and girls across all facets of sport.

7. History

   A leading history department in the country, LJMU History has a 91% student satisfaction rating on the 2022 National Students Survey.

8. Paul Killen

   Paul celebrated his 25th anniversary of working at LJMU in 2023, our Bicentenary year, and in 2024 will reach a marvellous milestone of 40 years working in education and will retire from the profession.

9. Dr George Sharples

   In 2023, George was recognised for being LJMU’s longest serving member of staff, having worked at the university for some 51 years. He is a Reader in Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences and joined LJMU in 1972.
