2. Menstrual health research – Qualitative Analysis in Action

   Dr Kay Standing and Dr Sara Parker are currently completing a British Academy Small Grant Project on re-usable sanitary towel projects, assessing their wider impact on women's health and wellbeing in Nepal. Find out more about this research.

3. LJMU Funded internships and work-based learning

   Find out how you could secure an LJMU-funded internship with a local organisation, working on a suitable graduate-level project. Internships are available to Level 5 and 6 LJMU students and graduates from the most recent graduating class.

4. Careers and start-up support for our Alumni

5. Outreach – widening access programmes

   Outreach at LJMU is committed to reducing the gaps in higher education. We deliver programmes to promote fair access to education, find out more about our activities.

6. Groups

   Explore LJMU's Bibliotherapy, Reading and Writing for Wellbeing groups. Join events that support mental health and growth through books and expressive writing.

7. Careers Support for Students with Disabilities at LJMU

   In collaboration with a number of student interns, Student Futures have created a range of careers resources for students with disabilities or health conditions or those who are neurodiverse.

8. Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair - 9 February, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   At our Volunteering and Summer Opportunities Fair, we'll have charities, businesses and organisations from across the UK and overseas from various sectors. Some are looking for volunteers, others are offering paid summer opportunities, including Go Global schemes like Camp America.

9. Getting it right: Pronouns

   Making sure you refer to someone by the correct pronouns (during face-to-face interactions or in written format such as emails), can make a world of difference and demonstrates your dedication to equality, diversity and inclusion.
