  5. Phil Bakstad

    Phil has worked at LJMU for over 16 years. He’s currently the Student Inclusion Lead within the Student Advice and Wellbeing Team and has recently started a new role as Diversity and Inclusion Associate Dean for Professional Services. Since 2010, Phil has also led on organising and representing LJMU at the annual Liverpool Pride March.

  6. Pre departure advice - Go abroad

    Not all of our students are experienced travellers and the Study Abroad Team are keen to support as best we can. We host a number of compulsory information sessions that students are required to attend before embarking on their experience of lifetime.   10. Book a one-to one careers meeting

    Find out how you can book an appointment with our Careers Team advisers to discuss your options. You can take a mock interview, get your personal statement, application forms and CV checked, get interview advice and search for graduate jobs, internships, part-time jobs and work experience.
