3. Dinosaur footprint expert to feature in Channel 5 series fronted by Stephen Fry

   Dinosaurs with Stephen Fry, airing from Sunday 12 February on Channel 5, will feature expert analysis from LJMU’s Dr Peter Falkingham. He will explain how birds are modern descendants of dinosaurs by looking at the motion of ostriches compared to the T. rex.

4. NSS 2023: LJMU delivering an excellent student experience

   LJMU has performed well in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2023. The Office for Students (OfS) has published the survey results, which paint a positive picture of the LJMU student experience, while helping us to identify some areas for improvement.

5. UK Malaysia Partnership Grant for Student Mobility

   Three grants of £30,000 are available for UK-Malaysia Consortium member institutions for developing innovative and sustainable student mobility initiatives that enhance student outcomes and competencies.

6. Scholarships for people of colour on policing course

   Opportunities for people of colour in specialist policing roles including counter-terrorism are being made available thanks to a partnership involving Liverpool John Moores University.
