An LJMU researcher is part of an international team of researchers who have put forward a position statement, published in Science, which lays out a new healthcare framework to help ageing populations stay healthier for longer.
The representations of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) roles is improving, but there’s work to be done. As of 2018, WISE Campaign (Women into Science and Engineering) announced that the UK is on track to have one million women working in the field by 2020.
