  1. Charitable Status

    Liverpool John Moores University is an exempt charity under the terms of the Charities Act 2011. Under the Charities Act 2011, universities are supervised by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) as principal regulator, which is charged with ensuring that universities fulfil their obligations under Charity law.

    acknowledgement of individuals and institutions who helped with the production of Dr Gerry Smyth's online learning resources based on his setting of the lyrics included in James Joyce's 36-lyric sequence entitled 'Chamber Music'

    Our graduation ceremonies at Liverpool Cathedral (Anglican) are a rich pageant full of colour provided by academic gowns, processional maces, banners, fanfares and ceremonial music.

    Dementia is a term used to describe a range of progressive neurological disorders. LJMU has been involved in the world of dementia care for many years and is an active member of the Liverpool Dementia Action Alliance.
