   LJMU deserves the highest praise for their success according to the Minister for Higher and Further Education, after it was the first of only four institutions to be awarded the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) Quality Mark.

3. £575k boost for student mental health provision in Liverpool

   A partnership featuring Liverpool John Moores University has been awarded £575k worth of funding from the Office for Students for a project to further develop mental health provision for students across Liverpool.

4. LJMU and LCR collaboration creates 44 apprentices for autism charity

   LJMU has collaborated with LCR to transfer £132,000 of unspent Apprenticeship Levy to Autism Initiatives, funding 44 new apprentice care workers for the charity.

5. LJMU to mark 200 years of city history

   Liverpool John Moores University will mark two centuries of history with a series of city-wide celebrations throughout 2023.

6. Call for submissions: Teaching and Learning Conference 2020

   This year's conference will take place on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June and submissions are now invited from staff and students and collaborative partner institutions, as well as other colleagues working in post-16 education.

7. Raising environmental awareness among schoolchildren

   LJMU has been awarded funding to help raise awareness and understanding of the climate, the environment and nature among schoolchildren in the Liverpool City Region.

   LJMU have secured prestigious funding to develop novel approaches to sustainable mining in the Philippines.

10. 200 firms supported in drive to low carbon economy

    £5.2 million Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory hits milestone and bids for fresh funding
