   Liverpool’s leading politicians, universities and hospitals came together today to launch their multibillion pound vision for the redevelopment of a major part of the city centre.

   International Relations team bid wins £1m to double Turing Scheme funding for 24/25.

5. Presenting the past to the public

   Research at LJMU is working on ways of presenting the past and creating content for historic sites and museums across Ireland and the rest of the globe.

6. Enhancing Research Through Ethical Review

   Debate, discussion and deliberation characterised the first ‘Inside the Research Ethics Committee’ workshop which took place recently and attracted researchers from across the University.

7. Menopause cafe April

   To keep conversations moving forward around the menopause, the next menopause café is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 19 April, from 10am to 11.30am in the John Lennon Art and Design Building, Ann Walker Seminar Room.

8. Briefing sessions for professorship and readership conferment

   Colleagues who wish to apply to the LJMU professorship and readership conferment process for 2023/24 can now book a place on our briefing sessions.

9. CourseLoop survey

   Our new curriculum management system, CourseLoop, has been live since the start of the academic year and we’d love to hear what colleagues make of it so far.

10. Transgender Day / Remembrance Vigil Liverpool 

    Today is Transgender Day or Remembrance (20th November 2019) - A vigil will be held in Exchange Station 6.00pm onwards
