In early 2024, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Professor Mark Power looked back at the legacy of Sir John Moores and his Littlewoods business, revisiting how the university came to bear his name and how the university is the custodian of the Moores’ family story.
The Tourism, Travel, Culture and Heritage Research Group (TTCH) at Liverpool John Moores University reflects the inter- and multi-disciplinary nature of these topics. It is composed of researchers with a range of research backgrounds, methodological approaches and expertise drawn from both UK and international contexts.
The Marketing, Consumption, Social Engagement and Entrepreneurship Research Group looks into marketing in technology and digital business, consumerism, social engagement and sustainability, entrepreneurship, civic leadership, and business decision making in SMEs. As a lad from Liverpool, Carl is similar to so many of those from the northwest region that stay and study here in Liverpool with LJMU. He has undertaken all of his academic studies here with us, and is an expert in the field of making weight in combat sports.
The Accounting and Finance Research Group will be located in the Business School. It will be mainly conducted within five research themes, Accounting and Society, Financial Stability, Sustainability, FinTech and Accounting Education.
