The Mechanical Engineering and Materials Research Centre (MEMARC) specialises in fracture and contact mechanics, wave propagation in lattices and microstructures, thermal fatigue and thermal striping, materials development and processing, as well as dynamics and control systems. Over the past 6 months, an expert panel of researchers and professionals have been working to develop a Physical literacy Consensus for England. The consensus statement aims to provide a shared understanding of what physical literacy is.
