   Everton Football Club is once again offering LJMU staff and students discounted tickets to a range of fixtures this season.

   LJMUs School of NAH has been shortlisted for nine awards at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2022 as well as a £2,000 Nursing and Midwifery Coordinator Social Prescribing Studentship awarded to Adult Nursing Student, John Wells.

   Student Futures, LJMUs Careers, Employability and Enterprise team, have a range of exciting, paid internship opportunities available for L5 and 6 (second and third year) students working on a real-life project for a local business/SME.

5. Are you ready for National Student Money Week?

   During week commencing Monday 3 February 2020, LJMU will be taking part in National Student Money Week. The theme for this year is 'Spend Healthy, Live Healthy: Sustainable Money' and during the week we will focus on reducing waste and saving money.

6. The lives of working mules: film screening and Q&A at FACT

   A POIGNANT film about the life of working mules in the Himalayas is the backdrop to an event at Liverpool FACT in March.

7. Global impact for publication on lack of exercise under ‘lockdown’

   Research which highlights changes to the human body during lockdown and other sedentary situations is having a huge impact among scientists worldwide.

8. Teaching textile and craft processes to high school pupils

   Staff and students from the Liverpool School of Art and Design have opened their workshops to pupils from Crosby High School as part of a four-month long collaboration exploring university learning.

9. Donate to support homeless people this winter

   A local community organisation run by one of our academic staff is appealing for donations to support homeless people this winter.
