LJMU in collaboration with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) have launched the project after statistics for attainment in primary and secondary schools show a significant gap between pupils with no identified special educational needs (SEN) and disabled pupils.

5. Sport science students make an impact with nearly 15,000 hours of placements

   From community sports clubs that support people with special educational needs to premier league football clubs, 173 students have undertaken 14,730 hours of work-based placements this academic year.
