   LJMU has honoured a group of new fellows at a special ceremony at St George’s Hall.

   New partnership aims to improve professional practice and strengthen public engagement in medicine and health care.

4. Sector-leading and innovative practice in advancing equality and diversity

   In a recent report by HEFCE on Sector-leading innovative practice in advancing equality and diversity, LJMU was commended for the number and range of events and initiatives focusing on equality and diversity issues.

5. New Reading List Management System Launched.

   In January 2015 Library Services piloted the use of a reading list management system, Rebus:List with 27 academics across the University with a soft launch that Summer.

6. The Cube Sea Air and Wrecks New Paintings by John Hyatt

   Dark Side Art Lab and The Cube are the first projects from The Dark Side.

7. Transatlantic research partnership in the arts

   LJMU’s School of Art and Design has agreed a five-year partnership with Transart Institute in New York City, which will see the two organisations offer a joint transdisciplinary doctoral programme from summer 2020. The aim of the programme is to create an exchange in research areas including contemporary art, art history, curating and exhibition studies, digital culture and technology.

8. The University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme research initiatives announced

   After consideration of all applications to the University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme, the projects to receive funding have been announced.

9. VC PhD Studentship Awards and Thematic Doctoral Programme Awards 2023/24

   LJMU has awarded 21 VC PhD Studentship awards to exceptional students at the university.
