6. LJMU host third annual research conference on menstruation

   More than 125 people took part in workshops and discussions on inclusive menstruation

7. Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences awards 2023 research grant to LJMU academic

   Dr Nick Dawnay from the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences has been awarded a £10K in support of a project looking to develop eDNA methods to support wildlife forensic investigations.

8. Annual survey of teaching space from 21 October

   The annual survey of teaching space will take place across the University over a two-week period, from Monday 21 October to Friday 1 November, 9am to 5pm.

   All grant funded projects and knowledge exchange projects must be recorded on the GaP system from April 2020

10. New book tracks nursing care in the Soviet Union

    LJMUs Dr Susan Grant has spent the last decade researching and tracing the history of nursing care in the Soviet Union, with her discoveries now documented in a new publication Soviet Nightingales: Care under Communism.
