Through the year, we have several open days to provide you with the perfect opportunity to see our campus facilities and explore your options. You can:

• attend subject sessions to find out about the courses that interest you
• explore our fantastic campus facilities
• chat to staff and current students
• receive information from our experts on all aspects of life at LJMU, from funding advice and student support to accommodation and opportunities to work or study abroad
• view our range of accommodation to see where you could be living
• discover Liverpool on a guided city tour

Open days allow you to engage with faculty members and current students to find out more about your desired course and get a sneak peek into the university experience.

Our 2024 open days have finished. We will be adding our 2025 open day dates soon.

LJMU Live: Online Event

Join us on 16 January 2025, 16.00 to 18.30 (GMT) for LJMU Live, a virtual event that allows you to explore everything LJMU has to offer from the comfort of your couch.

This digital event is the perfect opportunity to attend webinars about accommodation, fees and funding and more, allowing you the time to ask any questions you might have about preparing for university, student life, and being a student at LJMU.

Academics will not be attending the information sessions, but you can view subject talks delivered by our academics via the LJMU On Demand platform.

• 4 to 4.30pm: Navigating the UCAS Process
• 4.30 to 5pm: Accommodation
• 5 to 5.30pm: Fees and Funding
• 5.30 to 6pm: Student Life (JMSU, Sports and current students)

Campus tours

Our student-led campus tours are a great way to explore our state-of-the-art facilities at LJMU. You will see popular study and socialising spaces, as well as an example of student accommodation. This gives you a first-hand insight into what it is like being a student at LJMU.

Whilst the tour itself will not be course-specific, our student ambassadors are there for you to ask any questions you might have. This could be around the faculty, university or what LJMU is like which allows you to get an idea of what to expect.

Campus tours take place at both City Campus and Mount Pleasant Campus. When booking, you can input your chosen course to help us determine which campus tour will suit you best.
