First look at the new student social spaces
A few weeks ago we announced work was starting on six new student social spaces around LJMU campuses. The first two spaces - in John Foster and Redmonds Buildings - are now complete and we’re excited to share a first look at the transformation.
KKA Interiors worked closely with students, staff and LiverpoolSU to create spaces that would be desirable places to relax in while remaining functional. Amongst the comfy seating, indoor greenery and botanical wallpaper, you’ll find much-needed kitchen space, computers and plenty of plug sockets making this a space students can stay in between lectures and classes.
LiverpoolSU will also be on-hand with designated workspaces in each space.
The remaining four spaces are currently being built in IM Marsh, Byrom Street, Tithebarn Building and the John Lennon Art and Design Building and will be ready for start of the academic year in September.
