North West Cross Institutional Action Learning for Women

NWCIAL - supporting women

North West Cross Institutional Action Learning in partnership with the University of Liverpool and Chester University.  A development opportunity for 13 LJMU women working in academic and professional services roles to develop leadership capability and overcome career related challenges.

The scheme has run for 4 years. Feedback from participants: “Benefits are, that it's not role specific, so there are a whole range of individuals with different roles/skills/perspective” and “It provides the opportunity to discuss issues confidentially outside of one’s own workplace and encourages more self-confidence and self-awareness.”

What is planned?

Launch event on 23rd April 2018, to welcome participants, demonstrate the Action Learning (AL) process and hold initial AL Sets.  Following the launch, AL Sets will be hosted by the Universities on the dates below with AL participants from all three Universities.

Launch of North West Action Learning for Women  incorporating the first action learning meeting

Third action learning set meeting
