The Doctoral Academy's Thesis Boot Camp - 88,798 Words!

16 PGRs attended the second Thesis Boot Camp of 2018-2019 academic year at Gladstone’s Library in Hawarden at the end of February.  The Doctoral Academy hosted the 2 ½ day writing retreat, with the PGRs achieving a staggering 88, 798 word count.

Periods of intensive writing were interspersed with breaks in the Food for Thought Café, sunshine walks and board games in front of the log fire.

Further opportunities to attend Thesis Boot Camp will be available in September 2019.  Please contact Jo McKeon j.m.mckeon@ljmu.ac.uk with expressions of interest.  The Doctoral Academy also runs monthly intensive writing days at locations across LJMU campuses, as part of its Researcher Development Programme, available to all PGRs:  https://www2.ljmu.ac.uk/RGSO/training/128283.htm
