New LJMU intranet launched

As part of a drive to improve internal communications, we have been making significant improvements to the LJMU intranet.

We have just made big changes to the homepages for staff and students. They have a new look and feel and contain more news, announcements and quick links to the most viewed pages on the site. The decisions we made about which links to feature and which items to place on the home pages were based on extensive feedback from staff and students and by looking in detail at the analytics behind the current content.

The changes we are making will help us to make the intranet a one-stop shop for staff and students to help them with their work and studies and to see the latest LJMU news. We will continue to refine the new pages and make further improvements to the site. Your feedback will continue to be important to us as we do this. There will be more opportunities to suggest new or improved content. In the meantime, you can always contact Corporate Communications with any ideas or suggestions.

These changes are part of a rolling programme to move all existing content onto the new system. This means that not all departments have yet moved over to the new system. Secretariat and Finance are still on the old system (Reddot) and will be moved over in the next couple of weeks once ready.

If you have any problems accessing content please raise an issue with the Helpdesk and we will address any issue as soon as we can.
