LJMU Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Personal Development Workshops & Opportunities (2020)

LJMU's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team would like to offer LJMU Staff (& Students*), the opportunity to participate in a wide range of personal development workshops throughout 2020.

The aim of each session is to provide participants with; a better understanding of the subject matter, offer a safe-space to ask questions and to build confidence when faced with related challenges.

Religion & Belief Workshop:

• Monday 20th January 2020 (Exchange Station)  10:00 – 13:00  or  14:00 – 17:00*
• Friday 13th March 2020 (Redmonds)  10:00 – 13:00
• Wednesday 13th May 2020 (Redmonds)  10:00 – 13:00

Unconscious Bias & Intercultural Training:

• Thursday 27th February 2020 (Tithebarn Street)  10:00 – 13:00  or  14:00 – 17:00
• Thursday 5th March 2020 (Byrom Street)  10:00 – 13:00  or  14:00 – 17:00
• Wednesday 20th May 2020 (Redmonds)  10:00 – 13:00  or  14:00 – 17:00

Transgender Awareness Workshops:

• Friday 6th March 2020 (Tithebarn Street)  10:00 – 13:00
• Thursday 14th May 2020 (Byrom Street)  10:00 – 13:00

Dignity At Work (Bullying & Harassment) Workshop:

• Thursday 19th March 2020 (Egerton Court)  10:00 – 13:00
• Friday 15th May 2020 (Exchange Station)   10:00 – 13:00

Result CIC | Training For Managers Of Staff With Disabilities & Long-Term Health Conditions Including Mental Health:  

• Thursday 12th March 2020 (12:30 – 16:00) Egerton Court

*LJMU students are also encouraged to attend the Religion and Belief Workshop (alongside staff), which is scheduled to take place on Monday 20th January 2020.
