Two newly-refurbished floors of Avril Robarts Library are now open!

You can now use the brand new PCs, furniture and study spaces on the second and third floors.

The work has been carried out as part of our major Tithebarn Building redevelopment project.

The next phase of the library refurbishment will begin later this month, with work taking place on the ground floor north and first floor.

Please note:

  • The ground floor north will close on 28 January 2020
  • The study spaces on the first floor are closed from 18 January 2020 but you can continue to access books until 27 January 2020, when all books will have been moved to the second and third floors.
  • Books 000 – 623 will be found on the second floor, while 624 – 999 and the journals will be on the third floor.

Don’t forget that you can use PCs and study spaces elsewhere across the university, including our fantastic new Pavilion at Aldham Robarts Library where we have 170 brand new study spaces, 75 PCs, silent study area, four meeting rooms and a café.
