Resurfacing works affecting Mount Pleasant Campus (17-21 February)

Please be aware that lane restrictions are in place over the next week around our Mount Pleasant Campus.

A contractor for Liverpool City Council is carrying out resurfacing works on Brownlow Hill from Monday 17 February until Friday 21 February, 8am-6pm.

Works will take place on both sides of the road, but one lane will be maintained to travel up the hill throughout the week.

The following restrictions are in place:

  • Adelphi open air pay and display car park

Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 February - Restricted entry and exit. Drivers may have to wait for work vehicles to pass. Exit will be a left turn only up Brownlow Hill.

Wednesday 19 February - No entry or exit between 8am-6pm.

Thursday 20 February - Restricted entry and exit. Drivers may have to wait for work vehicles to pass. Exit will be a left turn only up Brownlow Hill.

Friday 21 February - Access as above may be required as part of the contractor's contingency plan.

 

  • Mount Pleasant pay and display car park

Monday 17 February - Restricted exit. Drivers may have to wait for work vehicles to pass. Exit will be a right turn only up Brownlow Hill.

Tuesday 18 February - No exit on Brownlow Hill while tarmac is being laid. Car park users will be directed to use alternative exit point.

Thursday 20 February - Restricted exit. Drivers may have to wait for work vehicles to pass. Exit will be a right turn only up Brownlow Hill.

Friday 21 February - Access as above may be required as part of the contractor's contingency plan.

 

  • Hawke Street / Ainsworth Street

Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 February - Restricted entry and exit via Brownlow Hill.

Wednesday 19 February - No entry or exit via Brownlow Hill between 8am-6pm.

Friday 21 February - Restricted entry and exit if required.
