Liverpool Screen School launches online degree show

The work of talented writers, performers, journalists, film makers and digital media producers at Liverpool John Moores University is being showcased online this week.

The Liverpool Screen School is launching its degree show live online this afternoon (4pm, Friday 26 June 2020).

The show will celebrate the talents of students in creative writing, drama, journalism, film studies and media production.

You can watch original drama performances, short films, television news and sport programmes, as well as listening to and reading a variety of articles and creative writing.

The launch event will be hosted by a student from the Liverpool Screen School and will feature online drama performances and creative writing readings.

The school will also announce its student prizes at the launch event.

Director of Liverpool Screen School, Professor Rachel McLean, said: "We're delighted to be launching the Liverpool Screen School's degree show online this week.

"The show is a fantastic platform for the original, creative talents of our students and a real chance for them to show off the skills they have developed during their time at LJMU.

"We are passionate about unleashing the creative potential of every student and preparing them for their careers in the media, film, journalism, the performing arts and writing. This online show will leave nobody in any doubt that some wonderful new talent is ready to make its mark in those industries."
