Exciting events at our new Student Life Building this month!

Daily BBQ

Come rain or shine, we’ll have a daily BBQ from 11am -2pm with meat, vegetarian and vegan options on the menu.

Tickets for each event are released the day before at 4pm and are available on a first come first served basis. Scan the QR code to select your timeslot and book your free ticket. 

Open Top Bus Tours

Love The Beatles, mad about football or just want to see the sights of Liverpool?

We’ll also be offering open top bus tours from the SLB on Monday 20, Thursday 23 and Friday 24 so why not take a ride around the city?

Buses will depart from the Student Life Building with a pick up at our Byrom Street site ten minutes later. Timings are as follows:

Beatles and Liverpool City Tour

SLB departure 10am & 1pm. Byrom street departure 10.10am & 1:10pm

Football Clubs and City Tour

SLB departure 11:30am & 2:30pm. Byrom Street departure  11.40am & 2.40pm

The open top bus tours last for 90 minutes and are on a first come first served basis. No need to book just show up on the day!

Silent Adventure Walking Tours

If a stroll/headphone disco around the city sounds more up your street, we’ll also be offering free walking tours with Silent Adventures Liverpool.

These ‘roaming, rhythmic riots through the sound soaked streets’ of Liverpool will depart from our Student Life Building Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 and Friday 24.

Tour times:

SLB departure 11:30am, 12:45, 2pm.

Tours last approximately 60 minutes. Don’t forget comfy shoes to walk in!

JMSU and other advisors will also be at the Student Life Building all next week and on hand to chat all things LJMU and welcome you back on campus.

The LJMU Sport Building will also be hosting free exercise classes all week. Download the app to look at the class timetable and sign up.
