Justine, after leaving Government in 2018, founded The Purpose Coalition to focus business leaders and government on issues around social mobility, climate change and the Levelling Up agenda.  This includes the crucial role universities like LJMU will play in developing and implementing policy for the country’s economic development.

Following a discussion about LJMU’s role in providing opportunities for students from the Liverpool City Region and the wider area, Mark led a tour of the new campus buildings, which are integral to the University’s future plans.

“It was great to be at Liverpool John Moores University earlier in the week and see the amazing new Student Life Building and Sports Centre. These state-of-the-art facilities will help with the university's work to drive social mobility and level up communities.” Justine said.
