Dance soiree to explore ‘Growing Old in the Soviet Union’

As part of a LJMU History and Wellcome Trust project ‘Growing Old in the Soviet Union, 1945-1991’ you are invited to a live performance and audience discussion on Friday 25 November from 7.30pm at the Unity Theatre.

The 30-minute dance follows the life trajectory of two Soviet citizens and explores some of the issues they encounter as they age in the late socialist period.

The project team is interested in then hearing your views about ageing and older people.

There will also be a second chance to view a screening of the performance, followed by an audience discussion, at FACT on Saturday 17 December from 4pm to 5.30pm.
