Join the Student Futures team for a series of events helping you think about your future goals – our sessions are friendly, open to students from any programme or year group and will help you gain clarity on your next steps.

Running over Curriculum Enrichment Week and National Careers Week – you’ll find us online and in-person around campus so drop-by, book on and come and say hi.

Sessions taking place over the fortnight cover everything from helping you to decide what direction to take next, where to look for placement or graduate opportunities, and help with all aspects of the recruitment process - CVs, applications, interviews, assessment centres and networking, including how to use LinkedIn to grow your professional network.  There is also a session on Disability and Employability, help if you want to start or co-found a business or freelance, volunteering and working abroad.

The LJMU Graduate Futures team will also be hand to let you know about internship, sandwich placement and graduate roles available within the Liverpool City Region.

There will also be employer events taking place if you are interested in teaching, psychology careers, working for the Police or the Crown Prosecution Service.

The activities in Future Fortnight lead up to the Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair on 10 March at the Student Life Building, which has 50+ employers looking to hire students from across all courses for internships, sandwich year and grad jobs.
