Improvement works at John Foster Building

Next month (June 2022), we will begin a programme of improvement works to John Foster Building, which means it will be closed for a period over the summer.

Estates and Facilities Management is delivering works including: refurbishment of the IT suites; new audio visual equipment across 40 rooms; new carpeting, lighting and paintwork in 20 teaching spaces; boiler maintenance works; and roofing work at the Hope Street/Mount Pleasant intersection.

John Foster Building will be closed between 13 June and 12 August.

Staff based in John Foster Building have been contacted directly about alternative arrangements during this period.

Thank you for your patience and support while the works are carried out; they will bring significant improvements to our facilities, benefiting staff and students alike.
