Ahead of World Environment Day this Sunday (5 June), at LJMU we are reaffirming our commitment to green initiatives and sustainability.

We believe in leading by example on environmental issues and we work closely with our partners to make a positive difference at a local, national and global level.

Watch this space for the launch of our LJMU Climate Action Plan. In the meantime, why not find out how LJMU is already combating climate concerns across the university and tips for ways we can all play a part in helping the environment.

Focus on recycling IT equipment

As part of our sustainability efforts, we work closely with local charity Bulky Bobs to recycle surplus IT kit for students and the wider Liverpool community.
